Dr. Avi Weisfogel of Dental Sleep Masters is leading the way to help diagnose and treat sleep apnea. Most of the patients that suffer from this are not diagnosed. Knowing that this problem requires more awareness Dr. Avi Weisfogel and his team have decided to put this problem on the spotlight.
Dr.Avi Weisfogel is the founder of Dental Sleep Master (DSM), he has a lot of experience with sleep treatment and sleep disorders. In 1999 he established Old Bridge Dental Care, which was his first dental practice. Running the office for more than 15 years, he became well-known to the community and thus earned designation Best Dentist for multiple years. It was in this period that his interest towards sleep disorders began to flourish. He was wondering how dentists and physicians could help patients who suffer from sleep disorders. Later he discovered several companies in the industry of dental related sleep disorders. In 2014 Dental Sleep Master was established for the purpose of helping dentists to discover the world of sleep using oral appliances to treat sleep disorders. Since he leads the company he has a lot of knowledge in the field of sleep apnea, he uses this to help other dentists to identify potential patients and to help them to get the treatment they need. He believes that combination of medical and dental professions is the key to create a model of care that can effectively help the patients. Dr. Avi Weisfogel strives to find solutions that will benefit the masses.
Dr. Avi Weisfogel got BA in biology and psychology from Rutgers University and a DDS from New York University College of Dentistry. His knowledge and devotion towards finding the right treatment for sleep disorder will guide him to the solution.
