Kim Dao Visits a Dog Cafe in JapanMarch 28, 2017 - Author: steph
The dog cafe is more common in Korea than in Japan. At the cafe, you can rent a dog for 150 yen per hour that’s equal to $1.35 in US dollars. This is Kim Dao’s first time in a Japanese dog cafe. Kim Dao has been to the cafes in Korea and had a lot of fun. Dogs can be rented by 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or per hour at different prices. People can get on the floor and play with the dogs and their rubber balls and toys. The cafe has all kinds of dogs including beagles and poodles. It’s like visiting a daycare center for dogs. Kim says that the owners of the cafe will let people rent a dog and take him for a walk if you want.
Even though Kim Dao owns her dog a pomeranian corgi named Yuki, it was hard to keep the two-year-old when she lived in Japan. Most people work very long hours and are unable to keep their own dogs. The dog cafe gives them some time to spend with a dogs. The dogs are friendly and willing play with anyone who comes to see them. In Austrailia there’s a dog cafe, and sometimes Kim Dao brings Yuki to the dog cafe to play with other dogs. Some people go to these cafes to see if they can get a feel for a dog before considering adopting one of their own. Usually, each of these dogs are up for adoption.
