helping patients in need of his career experiences at different organizations through charitable works. Some of the charitable organizations that Dr. Holterman has engaged himself in include the International Pediatric Specialists Alliance for the Children of Vietnam (IPSAC-VN) and Hannah Sunshine Foundation that offers medical assistance to children with rare diseases such as Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (SJIA).

IPSAC-VN hugely hinged on the funding of the donors for its suitability in the bid to provide accessibility to pediatric surgery treatment for its patients. Dr. Holterman has played a great role in being part of these donations. He has offered himself as a volunteer medical practitioner by offering training and lectures. Dr. Holtman assists in offering hands-on surgery training to a medical school affiliated to the IPSAC-VN in Vietnam. This is one skill that he plans on continuing for many years to come.

Such rare diseases are fatal and causes malfunctions of the liver, heart, and lungs.
