NutriMost and Healing the BodyJune 28, 2016 - Author: steph
NutriMost is a weight loss firm that’s currently in the middle of a lawsuit. The lawsuit is against a competitor by the name of “Healthy Living.” NutriMost believes that Healthy Living unlawfully purloined one of its promotional videos. The Healthy Living team put the video clip up on its official site cantlosediet.com. The clip is believed to have been taken directly from the NutriMost site. The only difference between the two video clips is the fact that mentions of “NutriMost” have been switched to “Can’t Lose Diet,” according to a suit in Manhattan Federal Court.
Healthy Living’s tweaked video clip maintains commentary from customers of NutriMost as well. It even features words from Dr. Ray Wisniewski, the company’s principal and chiropractor. This information comes from the suit. Healthy Living received a cease-and-desist letter back and still didn’t take the clip down. They just posted a briefer clip of the same exact thing, court documentation indicates. The clip, however, currently seems to be gone.
