The CEO of Papa John’s Steve Ritchie is a brilliant corporate leader. He knows how to address issues in the right manner when he is called upon to act. Since he rose to the position of CEO in this Pizza Company, he has taken measures that have brought back the confidence of the customers in the company. After a scandal that involved one of the senior executives, the company was quick to disassociate his utterances with the operations of the company. Papa John’s does not support racism or unethical behavior for all its workers. From top leadership to the bottom, the company is out to give the best services to the customers. They are ready to make sure that the customers all around the world feel appreciated.

Papa John’s needed a smart move from the senior management, and Steve Ritchie was right there at the right moment to take charge of the moment like a true professional. Ritchie drafted an apology letter that started by recognizing that the company had faced some challenges through the conduct of someone in a high position of leadership in the company. The person is no longer part of the company, and everything seems to be set for a change. Steve Ritchie Papa John’s was quick to state that the company supports nothing but the best values and that the conduct of one person does not in any way represent the views of the company.

CEO Steve Ritchie was categorical that his letter was not all about mere words without action. He recognized that what the customers want to see is a change in the company. Some of the steps the company has taken to ensure there is no repeat of the same mistakes include calling an external audit team that will gauge the strengths and weaknesses of the company. After the audit, they will take the report and act on it to the letter. The other step the company will take is to send senior managers to the field to collect the opinions of the customers, employees, and franchises.

Chainsmokers-Closer Gets the Most Sought-after Diamond Certification

The Chainsmokers and Halsey’s smash hit “closer” has earned the Diamond certification and the singers can’t keep calm. This chart-topping song was awarded this after about two years since its release. Gaining the diamond status is no walk in the park; to attain this, it must have hit more than 10 million sales.

Both the Chainsmokers and Halsey broke the news on their Instagram pages celebrating and showing gratitude to their fans for the support. They uploaded photos holding the plaques to show their just accomplished status. In March 2017 this song earned itself seven times platinum whose certification was given by Americas Recording Industry Association (RIIA). The RIIA did not update this on their website to acknowledge that the dance-pop hit had upgraded from the multi-platinum status to the diamond one. They’ll probably do so in the future considering that the musicians have already made their great achievement known.

As from 2016’s late summer, “closer” won the hearts of many people and climbed the top Hot 100 ladder. It has remained at the top for a longer period beyond everyone’s expectations. The song continued to top among the all-genre singles placing it in the same position with other releases that are great in the music industry. “Release” has taken the fourth position as the longest-running No. 1 song in the history of United States.

OSI Group McDonalds Installs a Multi-million Production Line in Spain.

OSI Group McDonalds has many plants worldwide, and it recently revamped its plant in Toledo, Spain that specializes in the processing of chicken products. Before the expansion, the plant’s chicken production was twelve thousand tons annually, but the production doubled to twenty-four thousand tons annually after the upgrade. The whole process cost the company €17 Million and created twenty more job opportunities for the existing one hundred and forty. OSI Food Solutions (OSI Group McDonalds) created a new position of product development manager. The person to occupy the new position would be a skilled and a focused person to develop new products and improve the existing ones. The manager would use the new kitchen to do the sampling of the products. Additionally, after the upgrade, the plant would produce forty-five thousand tons annually in total. OSI Group McDonalds, OSI Food Solutions Spain Managing Director, José María del Río noted that the demand for chicken products in Portugal and Spain grew at a breakneck pace. He pointed out that the growth rate in the last decade rose by six percent annually but for the previous three years, the growth in three years hit eight percent annually. He said that the rise in demand for these products would continue. The new production line is 22,600 square feet that contain refrigerated rooms for the storage of waste containers, production hall, a storage area for the supplies, dispatch space, and products receiving area. The facility has an employee lounge, hot water storage containers, and Nitrogen containers.

The President and Chief Operating Officer of OSI Group McDonalds, David McDonald noted that the expansion was part of the company’s agenda to add more products to its portfolio. He was also happy because the process created more job opportunities hence boosting the economy. He said that the new production line observed sustainability because of setting measures of cutting production costs by lowering electricity usage. The heat produced by the refrigerators and the production system would be recycled to boil water instead of using electricity. The process would reduce energy consumption by twenty percent, which was a significant improvement.
